So I don’t have the story, yet, on how this particular track came to be…it’s a mashup between Lana Del Rey’s big hit this year “Summertime Sadness” and Jonas Mantey’s great berlin techno-style cut “Sie Ist Schön” from last year, which I’m guessing was conceived by Asadhino, who’s an artist I’m not familiar with. Then, to boot, Pole Folder has come along and reworked some of the layering and structure of the song…it’s really quite incredible.
Just listen to the crickets…is that Summertime or WHAT?!
