Day 225: Back on Track

Day 225: Back on Track

Backstreet’s back!

It’s weird right now, I’m listening to the A’s game whilst I write this. They’re in major extra innings. And, the Angels just got the walk-off run to second base with 1 out. It’s not looking good, guys!

Honestly, when games go on like these, it seems like it’s a game of attrition. Granted, it does set the Angels up to sweep us with one more win tomorrow night, which would definitely be a blow back against us after crushing them up north a week and a half ago. We’ll see. It’s still early. They’re a good team. We’re a good team. I hope we put the division out of reach early, but it’s not all that likely to happen.

They just turned an inning-ending double play. Denied the Angels.

14 innings. That’s just not right. Come on, A’s! Let’s put this shit away!

Today was a muuuuccchhhh more productive day. I’m set up for another long one tomorrow, but definitely do-able. I want to get my work out in there as well. Two days off definitely has me ready to rock in there again, so that’s good. Means that my strength is finally starting to get there 🙂

I just took a hot minute to post my Instagram photo for the day. I have to say I do enjoy posting that, as well. The past three days have been right before bed, so not necessarily the most thought-out intriguing photos, but I still like it. The past few have been snapshots of some part of my day, which I like. I can go back through these photos and be like “oh, yeah! I remember that day!”

Very akin to these posts, I suppose.

I did some planning, albeit entirely in my head, for the novel project which is soon to start in full force. This pilot script re-write is first, but I’m looking forward to having the next project ready to go.

Update on the game: A’s just went 1-2-3 in the top of the 14th. Shake my head. It feels like every time we don’t score in our half of the inning, that the Angels will walk-off in the bottom half every time. How can they not feel that way? They’re at home. If they score a single run, the game is over.

I’m not sure why I had such a rough day yesterday. It’s been a while since I’ve had one of those days. But, at the very least, it was only ONE day. I was very productive today. And, I will be tomorrow. I feel back in the zone. More at ease. Looking forward to working tomorrow, in fact. Listen to some DS9, get shit done. Liz is working tomorrow, so it will be me and the Coops. Men at work.

That’s all for tonight, guys. More of my life tomorrow, as usual. I’m sure you’re waiting with bated breath…

Tonight’s art comes from Chris Moore. I chose it because I love the guy on the ground as the ship fly’s by, arms up like “what the fuck?! Where are you guys going?!”
