Different day today. Liz had all the running around while I mostly had nothing to do. So, I took an epic nap to start the day, then had some lunch with Liz and her mom, then I invited Ryan over to hang by the pool.

The water was cold, but I went in anyway for a while. It cooled down today quite a bit. That was a nice change. It’s been really REALLY warm here the first couple days, but this wind has come in and cooled the island down. At least our side of the Island.

Ryan put some music on and I set things up with the Coops and we just chilled out and talked. Kinda caught up with each other on life and everything that’s happened over these past several months. It’s weird to write that sentence: it only has been in the last year that all this shit has happened. SO MUCH has happened. It can be hard to keep up with. But, at the same time, it seems like time has flown by. It’s a weird dichotomy, depending on what it is I’m talking about at the time.

Then, we took the Coops on a walk and came home to hang with the Ho for a bit. She was recovering from a very busy day, and that was really nice. Just to talk the three of us. We used to do that a lot back in the day. He was a friend of ours we just loved hanging out with, never felt like a third wheel, was just easy and fun. Good conversation. Chuckles. I definitely miss doing that with Ryry.

After that, it was time for dinner, and we met Liz’s family down at a restaurant called the Five Palms for a birthday celebration of Julianne (Liz’s sister) and Jon (Julianne’s boyfriend). It’s crazy how many September birthdays there are! I had some pretty dope sushi, and the ambience was killer. The ocean was breaking waves right behind where we were sitting. Beautiful. Seems like your restaurant is a chump on Maui if you *don’t* have an incredible seaside view.

Now, we’re home, we did our videos, and the Ho is over next to me writing her vows. We both did them to varying degrees on the computer before coming out here, but we both realized that there was going to be no way to PRINT them out here 😛 So, we’re each re-writing them in a notebook for Saturday.

The wedding is now TWO DAYS away…well, *was* two days away this morning. It’s now ONE DAY and ONE NIGHT away. Craziness.

Ta-ta for now. See you tomorrow.
