Outlined like a mofo today…I got it done, too, plus 75% on another pass on the outline. My pilot script is still for sure going to be over pages-wise, but hopefully that won’t hold me back. More ways to streamline will occur to me, I’m sure. As it is with this draft, the goal will be to have something that’s a good 20 pages less than the first draft.

It was wonderful to have a writing day. I wish that things were less crazy with my building at the moment. With the vacancies plus more maintenance and various other stuff than I think I’ve ever had all at once before, it’s quite a lot to handle every day. A good three or four solid hours of work each of these past seven days, or so. There’s just a lot going on. But, whatever, it happens. I still got done everything I wanted to.

Almost…I do want to finish that second pass on the outline tonight before I take a little break from it tomorrow (maybe). Tomorrow, I’m going to go play golf. I really wanted to play for my birthday, but it was 105 that weekend, and that wasn’t gonna fly.

In other exciting new, I have a *massive* zit on the tip of my nose. On the outside, this time, thankfully. They happen whenever the allergies pick up, and I’m blowing my nose a lot. It sucks. I look like Rudolph on one half of my schnazz. Is that how you spell that? I have no idea.

The Coco and the Coops continue to be adorable. They’re still struggling a bit figuring out what the pecking order is, but nothing too bad. They’re walking together already like champs. Shoulder to shoulder and at the same pace. It’s ridiculous. They also finally figured out tonight that I want them both to sit and wait until I tell them to go and get their food, as opposed to just bum-rushing for their respective kennels. That was a break-through. Affection and food, that’s where the pups can go wrong. Coops is still fairly possessive of the bed, but Coco isn’t allowed to sleep up here yet. She will be soon, and that will set off a whole new set up pecking-order-anxiety shenanigans. I’m confident that they can handle it, though. Little cutie pies.

We went and had Polish food tonight. I know! Polish food, in LA. Who knew? It was at the suggestion of one of Liz’s old High School friends, whom she has seen except online for yeeearrsss now. They think they may have said hi to each other the 10 year reunion back a few years ago, but nothing like having dinner. It was a lot of fun, we had some laughs, and the food was pretty damn good. Like, for reals.

Oh, and we almost got into an accident on the 405 tonight. The car directly in front of us didn’t realize that our lane had come to an almost-stop, swerved right at the last second into the other lane, and a car in that lane crashed right into them. The cars did maybe a 360, nothing like a complete wipe-out, and nobody in the other lanes got hit…so we think everything turned out okay in the end. Me, I was driving, I was barely able to stop in time to not hit the car that the car in front of us hadn’t seen stop. Our tires skidded a bit, but I had just enough road to make the stop. It definitely got our hearts racing. The other two cars looked like they were probably totaled. But, small price to pay if you’re able to pull over and walk away from the accident in one piece, right? It was pretty scary.

Then, we came home and snugged with the pups. Liz had a busy day today with work, and another one tomorrow. Also, I wanted to post a link to the vlog that she recently posted, and I’m about to finally go and *finish* watching myself, about her time in NYC before our wedding. Her vlogs are so much cooler than mine! Give it a look-see:

Good night, guys! See you tomorrow!
