Day 348: Under the weather

Day 348: Under the weather

See…I’m not sick.

And yet, I slept for almost five hours today. TODAY. I don’t mean last night. I mean during the day today. FIVE HOURS. That’s not normal. So, I guess, I’m hoping that I’m NOT getting sick. And, honestly, I don’t feel like I am. I just felt…under the weather. Exhausted for some reason I can’t put my finger on.

The Ho has informed me that she’s just farted for my evening pleasure. I’m not quite sure HOW it’s for my “pleasure” but it is evening, so I suppose that part of the statement is accurate. Just thought I’d share. You’re welcome.

Our newest pup Coco just snuggled up right next to me on the bed. That has to be the most amazing thing about having an animal, when they want to be right next to you while they sleep. Right? There’s nothing quite like it. I mean, they’re this completely different creature, but you’re so close with each other, they want to sleep next to you. You make them feel safe. It’s magical.

Coops, see, he is definitely a little snuggle monster, but not ALL the time. He really does his own thing a lot of the time. He also feels most comfortable at the end of the bed, or lying down at my feet. That’s his jelly jam. What he loves. Coco, on the other hand, SHE is a ninja-warlock-level snuggler. She gets right up in your face, and snuggles. She wants to be as close to you as possible all day every day. She will never turn down a snuggle. And, I love that about her. It’s incredibly sweet.

I got my pages done today. I obviously did not get all my editing done. You can’t sleep for 5 hours over the course of the work day and get everything done. I’m letting that shit go, guys. I’m hoping that tomorrow brings me the full work day that I so desperately need right now. It can happen. I also need psuedoephedrine. You know, the ‘D’ in the Zyrtec D. I think that’s a major part of the headaches I’m getting in the middle of the day. It also gives you a nice little zing! which is never horrible 😛

Okay, that’s all for tonight. Believe it or not, I’m tired. It’s time for the sleeps. Wish me luck tomorrow. I really need it. I’m floundering over here.
