Credited as Manchu, I highly recommend a look at the full image…it’s the tiny spacecraft that makes me crazy about this piece. I’m obsessed with SCALE…and this one has it in heaps. Love it.

Double dose today of agility with the pups. Coco went first to Agility I, which she rocked again so freaking hard. She has no fear of any of the apparatus, and she has bbbaaalllleeerrrr concentration. Such good eye contact, and she’s so patient. Then, it was Cooper’s turn, the All-Star. He was super freaking energetic today. All over the place. Wanted to run as fast as he possibly could, which meant he messed up quite a bit at first on a very creative (and difficult) course today. But, he totally got it after he’d calmed down slightly and was able to focus a bit more.

It was super fun. And there’s also this woman who works at one of the clothing shops that Liz likes to go past every so often who is *obsessed* with Coco, so we try to stop by there now so she can say hi. Coco also seems to love being in that store and getting all that attention after zooming around at agility. I know I talk a decent amount about my dogs on this blog, but they really are just amazing creatures and I have so much fun with them (and the wifey).

I got some editing work done, the little bit that I needed to over the weekend to make sure I stay on task. That’s more and more becoming part of my routine. I don’t know if that’s just finally getting used to and giving in to the self-sabotaging part of myself…but it’s a reality. We’ll see if it’s “fixable” or if it’s just something I should embrace and actually plan into my schedule. Whatever it was, I did it, and that means I’m 2 minutes away from being caught up for the month.

I did decide to take the day off tomorrow as opposed to beginning my work week. Yet again. THAT pains me, actually. I *don’t* like that. I definitely feel best and most organized when I’m starting my work week on a Monday. But, I also have catch up work to do in a few other areas, and this weekend did not afford me that time. So, it’s actually happening tomorrow.

I also realized today that I think I’m allergic to dust. It’s nothing definite, mind you, but this has been a (too) slow realization that these allergies I’m having are not, in fact, going away even when the weather is changing and theoretically the pollen in the air is quite low. They are, in fact, only getting worse, my allergies. And, to boot, they’re the worst when I’m home, NOT when I’m outside. Plus, I know dust has always kind of made me sneeze anyway…and I must confess, I do a really shitty job of keeping my house clean in terms of dust. Especially my carpets. Sigh.

So, I bought a vacuum. I didn’t even plan on it, but there I was, browsing the internets, and up popped something from Amazon saying they’re daily deal was on a Hoover vacuum that was 40% off. It was a sign. I jumped on it. Vacuum has a HEPA filter in it, and I’m also going to get one for our AC for the house, and Liz also suggested we get one to run in the bedroom at night as well. I’m actually pretty confident that will solve my allergy problems. It makes sense. If it doesn’t, well, then it may be time to call up the old Doc and see about getting an allergy test done on me to figure out what it specifically is that’s giving me a constantly stuffed up nose and a headache for the past two months.

That’s all for tonight. I started watching Django Unchained and I do have to say it’s pretty fucking awesome. Also brutal and disturbing…but very impressive. So far it doesn’t have the tear-my-eyes-out-of-my-skull-it’s-so-good scene that Inglorious Basterds has in it (the opening scene with Christoph Waltz), BUT…overall, I think Django already is a far superior film. Much more visceral. Much more close to home, and much more effective.

Hope you had a nice weekend, y’all. Talk to you tomorrow!
