Today was a day full of birthdays. So many. Okay, so it was TWO birthdays (plus one up stairs for a tenant)…but STILL. That’s a lot, yo! It was birthdays today and it was doing narrations. And Flix work.
I haven’t been able to do narrations since about two weeks ago…and when I checked this morning I about had a heart attack. Two weeks ago, I’d be lucky to get 3 or 4 from the work pool…well, apparently someone went HAM and there were 120 assignments waiting. So, I pounced on a good number of those, and did some Netflix work.
Then, it was off to Matt & Cat’s for Mirabelle’s 7th birthday party. It was, of course, superhero themed. Superheroes rule to the roost these days, you know? Made Mac and Cheese with the Ho, cleaned…what we usually do at those things. We had more downtime and hang out time than usual because most everything was actually done already, at least when I arrived. We figured part of it was that the party was a little later in the afternoon than they usually do.
Then, we sped home and took care of the pups, who were about ready to wiggle out of their fur coats when they saw us. I walked them, then did more work until it was time to eat some food quickly before we sped off downtown for another friend’s birthday: Derrick. THAT was really fun. I genuinely enjoy hanging out with Gary and Derrick, and it had been a while since we’d last seen them.
Now we’re home, and I seriously can’t keep my eyes open. It’s time for the sleeps. The exhausting two weeks continue!
