This weekend is all in the title tonight, my friends. I worked non-stop this weekend…and I plan to work non-stop through the week. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. But, it must be done. There’s no way around it. I still, actually have to run to the store and get some milk and eggs…but I guess I can do that in the morning.
Did my Netflix work. I think I can burn through a ton of these pretty quickly, actually…and then set aside those that will be more challenging and come back to them and give them all the tender care that they need. We. Shall. See.
Went to the Ho’s world premier of The Last Tour, which is a feature she was in several years ago that’s finally coming out. It was a lot of fun. Got to see Dante, got to see Kihong and Hayoung, got to see Jeff and Ryun Yu…got to see a ton of folks. And the movie wasn’t half bad. For reals. I enjoyed it! I was skeptical, I’m gonna be honest, I just know how fucking hard it is to make something GOOD…and I was entertained. So, good job guys!
The rest of the day was work work work. The Flix, narrating…it was a haul. But I did it! Oh, and I read a friend’s script that’s based off this series of novels I haven’t read, and I realized this dude who wrote the book series has written, no joke, like 30 novels in the past 10 years…it was a bit inspiring. Made me feel lazy, too…but mostly inspiring. And his premise is a close neighbor to a premise of my own, and it made me feel that feeling in my chest like “holy shit, I need to write this damn book before anyone else does.”
Anywho…it’s time for the sleeps. Tomorrow is going to be a haul. Wish me luck.
