Another success story today – two writing sessions.
To be honest, I have to confess that neither of them were a full hour…but they were each 45 minutes, and so I’m okay with that. I *can* eek out a little more productivity from those two hours, certainly, but that’s good enough for right now. And I got two of them in!
I was just telling the Ho about the new scene that I wrote today, and she really liked it. I hope readers will like it, too. I think they will. I’m starting to be able to tell, now, just by how I feel about writing section whether or not it’s going to read well. Basically, if I’m having fun writing it, the reader will have fun reading it. I’ve heard that before, but I’m starting to actually see it happen in my own writing…at least I *think* it will read well. I suppose I don’t have that much to go on yet.
I am DETERMINED to get this rewrite done by the end of the year. Fucking determined. I have five weeks. Five measley weeks. But I can do it.
Also, I am wiped the fuck out. I was a little under the weather all day today, but I powered through. I got all my work done for the Netflix, all my work done for the voiceovers, and all the writing sessions done as already mentioned. I also went down to the apple store and got my iPhone replaced. It’s mute switch had stopped working, so my phone’s been stuck in silent mode for the past couple weeks. It wasn’t that big of a deal since I usually have it in silent mode anyway, which is why it took me so long to get it fixed.
Thankfully that was a quick trip. Allowed me to get back, finish up some work scraps and sit down for my second writing session right on time.
But, yeah…felt under the weather. Not sure what it was about, probably just fatigue, but we’ll see. Going to get some solid sleep tonight, try to take it as easy as possible tomorrow. We shall see.
Played The Witcher 3 tonight as my dinner was cooking just long enough to get through the introduction and the first opening scene. It’s so similar to Skyrim in the world and the characters, but already so different in the gameplay and the way the story is set up. We’ll see how it goes.
