Tonight was the night the Ho and I got up off our asses and went to a game night over at Gary and Derrick’s…and it was a grand old time. We played “running charades” the whole time we were there which is charades (you have a term – in our case we chose works of “art,” like movies, books, plays, etc. – and you have to act them out without words), there are two teams, except each team is sequestered into a room by themselves, and you compete with the same list of 10 terms/titles. End result: lots of running, and it gets very competitive. Super fun.

Coco is ALL up in my business right now eating her Whimzee. It’s because Coops is up on the bed right now next to her. But not in a agro way at all, he’s behaving himself. They have been SO GOOD since trying out this new feeding routine where I put down square blankets for each of them to lie down on. It’s really helped them have their own space when they’re all wound up about food. They don’t feel threatened by each other because their space is defined. It’s worked really well so far.

I didn’t get any writing done today, but that was sort of the plan, at least starting from yesterday when I realized how much shit we were doing last night and then today. We were up late, so I woke up late this morning, and then it was straight over the hill to take Wolfie on his special day with Liz and I. He wanted to go to Toy R Us, and he got himself some Duplos (the little kids version of legos) and then we went to Costco and he had a hot dog and some FroYo. Such a cute kid, Jesus Christ. We had lots of fun walking like pigeons and running like horses. Oh, and we listened to Moana in the car.

Then I had narration work to do and a little bit of the Flix work, and then I took a nap with the bear, and then some more narration work and then it was time to head over the hill to Gary and Derrick’s. Coops and Coco came with. Those guys have a new kitty – her name is Maya and she is SO FRIGGIN CUTE. Not afraid of anything, super playful, super sweet. Coco met her face to face and licked her nose. Coops wanted to run around with her. We actually had to keep a leash on the pups because they were about to get a little too excited, but they calmed down pretty quick.

Anywho…it was a really nice day, guys. A really nice day. Tomorrow…I’m going to try and put 8 or 9 hours into Starstuff. Wish me luck on that.

Night!
