I worked today…I actually worked. ‘Tis a relief, my friends. ‘Tis a relief.

I didn’t quite hit my goals, but it’s not the end of the world. I can still make up a bunch of ground tomorrow. And then be in good shape for Monday. Whew!

I spend some time today doing research on book cover designers. That was…overwhelming…and exciting. And overwhelming. But, hey, it’s a start. There are plenty out there, and I’m sure I’ll be able to snag one of them to knock it out of the park for Starstuff. It’s hard to understate the important of cover art…this is what I’m learning. And its because you use it for EVERYTHING. The cover practically IS the book. Or, at least, it’s what SELLS the book. The book itself is still certainly the thing that sells me as a writer.

Holy crap balls, a mosquito just landed on my lap here while I was in bed. WTF? Where did that little fucker come from? Hopefully the last of its kind…

I got to watch the Warriors beat down the Bucks tonight, and that was fun. They were getting worked over in the first quarter…up until about 2 minutes to go and the warriors *exploded* on them to nearly tie it back up, and then they flat-out dominated them in the second quarter. After that, they cruised to an easy win. It was the first time since Durant’s injury, for me at least, that they looked like a dangerous team in the playoffs. And that’s a relief. Curry was deadly tonight…and he hasn’t been deadly all that often. Thompson was cold tonight…THAT still hasn’t happened…having both Thompson and Curry on their game at the same time. And the season is almost over. Mark my words: the Warriors are going to struggle in the playoffs this year. I can just feel it.

Looks like team USA is also going to beat the Dominican Republic tonight and advance to the semi-finals next week…so that’s cool. The WBC is definitely always fun to watch, particularly because they play games in places like Japan and Korea. That’s just cool, seeing those stadiums, those fans, seeing how those teams play. It’s really neat. The US never seems to do that well, but that’s really because there is so much international talent out there…AND that the WBC takes place before the regular MLB season, and so a lot of players simply aren’t in top shape. They save it for the MLB regular season.

Anywho…that’s all for tonight. I want to read.

Good night!
