So, the Ho got these little gangster/badass dog figures today, but they come in mystery packages where you’re not sure which dog is inside…there’s a shih tzu in the collection, so obviously she wanted to get it, but she only got two of them and there are like a dozen possibilities. Well, guess what? We got the the shih tzu just now.

It’s a sign of a good trip, and of good things to come on the trip home. That never happens for us, getting what we want out of such mystery packages. It’s a sign from baby g. For sure.

Today was another long, badass day. We spent all of it, basically, down in the Marin county area. Sausalito was where we met up for some breakfast at this place called Fish. With the period at the end. And I had probably the best gd tuna melt of my entire life. Then, we walked around that area for the rest of the afternoon until it was time to head up to Mill Valley and hang out with Elle and Griffin and Ozzy for a little while. We had dinner together and then went and got ice cream from this place in Larksburg that was insanely good.

Then we came back up to the Sonoma area and watched Game of Thrones with Liz and Ali and that was dopeness, too.

Now it’s tired, I’m exhausted and slightly sunburned on my neck and face (sigh…definitely slathering with sunblock tomorrow for the drive) and ready for some sleeps.

I was talking with Liz about it today, but I know that I’m doing the right thing with my life, living in the right place, when as a trip draws to a close, I am excited to go back home and be home and get back to my regular life. It’s a huge indicator to me of my overall happiness that I’m ready for a vacation to be over so I can get back to the daily grind. If you find that not to be true for yourself, take a look at what you’re doing with your life and perhaps where you are living. One of those two things might be off.

Good night beaches!
