Life never stop, guys. It just keeps rolling along at its own speed, whether we’re in tune with that or not, and its definitely not an even track. Peaks and valleys abound.
I had an amazing day today writing. I wrote 6,000 words like it was nothing. I’ve come to a place where I write that many words in about 5 hours, maybe even 4 if I’m really focused. I’ll be halfway done with this draft on Tuesday. I’ll be finished with it just about a week after that. Finally. I know what I’ve written will need adjustments, but I think it’s in a good place. I really do.
It’s time for a sleep already, so I’ll cut this short. Tonight was the premier of Star Trek Discovery, and I don’t really know what to think about it. It was up and down for me. I liked things about it, but I wasn’t swept away. Yet. There were some script issues, but some potentially interesting characters. I just really don’t know. It’s a “wait-and-see” for me.
