I’m listening to some of the classical music that I collected during the few weeks at the beginning of this year that I was on a binge. Another binge will be coming soon enough, as soon as I get off my current Deep Space Nine playing in the background kick.

Tonight though, I was getting my writing hour done, and I started off with some soundtrack music, and I ended up listening to Wagner and Mozart. Wagner is a badass. A moody german badass. Mozart, on the other hand, is a fucking rock star. Seriously. His shit is next level. I get it. I understand why he was such a big deal. His music is instantly powerful, beautiful, sweeping…the adjectives go on. And the man understood a good hook, too. Right now I’m listening to the Molto Allegro from his Symphony no. 40 in G minor. Look it up. You’ll recognize it. The duh-duh-duh duh-duh-duh duh-duh-duh-DUH…

I realize you can’t write music in words that doesn’t have words. At least you can still sing classical music. Can’t do that with techno. No sir, just ask the Ho. Can’t be done.

Today was a busy day, actually. Started off with a Crossfit workout with Matt King, which I did surprisingly good with. Then, it was home for some lunch, some editing work, then I decided to indulge myself and watch the baseball game, walked the Coops, ate a delicious Blue Apron dinner that the Ho cooked, we watched some of the last Thor movie, and then I came in here to write for an hour…and here we are. That was literally my entire day. It simultaneously sounds like a lot, and hardly nothing at all.

My allergies right now are legit. Some crazy ass stuff is blooming out there in the San Fernando valley tonight. It’s time for some Benadryl.

I love that when I write in the bedroom, Coops comes and curls up down by my feet on Liz’s side of the bed. My writing buddy. In my novel, Coops has a character based off him. Because, of course. Who knows? I might put Coops in all my stories, okay? That could happen.

So sassy.

I need to remember to go grocery shopping tomorrow, guys. Legit.

I’m waking up tomorrow to watch the US match down in Rio. Is that crazy? I don’t think so. It’s cool that these games are on our side of the world this time, and the US matches aren’t at 4am in the morning. Cuz, let’s be real, I’m casually enough of a US futbol fan that there’s no fucking way I’m getting up at 4am to watch us lose to a country that would get up at 4am to watch their team.

But, 9am? I can totally swing that.

That’s all I got tonight. Sass. And a headache from these crazy ass allergies.
Shake my head…

Also, what can possibly be more sassy than Bill Nye with a couple blasters in his hands? Am I right???
